  Lab Service
  I can highly recommend Quest Labs at Ferndale. The service is professional, polite and precise. Lab reports are sent to the doctor and the doctors office then informs you of the results.
  If you are with Peace Health, you can obtain your test results within a very short time from their site. The new arrival of these tests are prompted by an email to your account. This is superior service to say the least!

  Poor Service
  If you want to be treated like a patient or important customer, use Peace Health in Whatcom County .. . .not Quest.

  I arrived for a blood draw and was seen very promptly. The technician/medical draw specialist, was professional, courteous, and skilled. No complaints here.

  After the draw was made, I asked to be faxed the results when ready. She said no problem. Just had to sign a form to authorize a FAX to my home FAX number. I completed the form and departed.

  Today, I had not received the FAX so I called the online phone number for the Ferndale office at 360-592-6020. Was given a choice of about nine options to push a number for whatever service I needed. Only thing left out was a request for my coffin size.

  As the phone number was no good I thought best to visit and make my request for a copy of my test results personally. I signed in and asked the receptionist for a copy. She was rather abrupt stating they do not do that. I had to request results from my doctor. I informed her that the technician said I could have it FAXed. She re-stated I must ask my doctor.

  For info of any reader, you/we have a right to see our lab results without consult with our doctor. Quest Diagnostics, while having a patient sign a bureaucratic form giving permission to send these results, has not trained their staff on procedures, apparently.

  During this process I noted on Quest Diagnostics web site they have an online system to fetch information. I gave it a whirl, inputting all may info, and there came a point where I had to wait for an email code to complete my registration. STILL WAITING . . .
